Hello,

Welcome to my online portfolio. Here you can see examples of my web design work, view my resume, and learn a little bit about me. In 2007 I graduated from DeVry University with a B.S. degree in Computer Science. While at DeVry I took courses in programming and web design becomming proficient in the following skills: C#, VB.Net, Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and SQL. While at DeVry I was able to maintain a 4.0 GPA while working full time as a project specialist in the financial department at Abanco International (see resume at the bottom of the page for details). Since graduating I have been working at Digi-Trax Corporation as a software engineer. At Digi-Trax I have been able to stay sharp in the programming laguages and skills I learned at school and was able to add Delphi to this list as well. At Digi-Trax I maintain and develope on-demand printing software solutions to the medical industry using development environments such as Visual Studios and Delphi 2007. In my spare time I have developed two web sites one of which (www.frankdarone.com) I currently maintain on a regular basis. Both are asp applications using Access as the database. Both projects as well as a school project are listed below.

Thank You,

Web Design Projects:

Private Equity Association of Chicago and Boston.

This project is a fully dynamic, database driven web site. Please click the image on the right where you can log in as an admin with the username and password test4 or test5 (username and password are the same). Furthermore, you can log in as a "member" by using username and password test1 or test2. Feel free to log in as an admin and add, remove, or edit the data and see how it effects the site when logged in as a member. The actual web site can be viewed at www.peassociation.org. But please respect this organization and only use my site for testing and experimenting.

This project was done for a friend of the family and is currently still in the works and evolving every week. It too can be viewed by clicking the image to the right. I am currently working on a way for an admin to log in and easily add new shows to the "News" screen. This screen will utilize an access database and will be more friendly to visitors in that it will list the upcoming shows first follwed by the past shows. You can compare the old and the new by going to www.frankdarone.com/FD_News.aspx and www.frankdarone.com/FD_News_New.aspx. However, if you haven't already been in the "portal" page yet you will be redirected to it. Once you have visited the "portal" page then you can view the News page. This was done so that visitors will always hear the music upon visting the web site.

School Project:

Shopping Cart project.

This was an exercise in designing the look of a web page as well as utilizing cookies. Please note that the search function does not work but by clicking on the image of the field, it will redirect you to a list of products to add to the shopping cart. Please be aware that this project was designed to work specifically for users with Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher.
